Safety

• Ensure the protective hood and correct splitting wedge are installed for the task whenever required.
• Remove both battery packs before changing the blade, adjusting settings or carrying out maintenance.
• Support long or wide workpieces properly to reduce binding, tipping or inaccurate cuts.
• Use dust extraction or the chip collection bag to improve visibility and help reduce airborne dust.
• Allow the blade to stop fully before removing offcuts or making adjustments after a cut.
• Clamp workpieces securely when appropriate and maintain a stable working stance at all times.
