Safety

• Ensure the blade is mounted correctly: the rotation arrow on the blade must match your saw’s direction of travel, and all flanges, guards and spacers must be secured.
• Use appropriate dust extraction or ventilation – laminate, MDF and particleboard dust can be harmful.
• Allow the blade to reach full speed before entering the cut and wait until it has fully stopped before setting the saw down or changing blades/spacers.
