Safety

• Wear eye, ear and dust protection whenever operating the saw.
• Secure the workpiece properly before cutting, especially when working with smaller mouldings, trim or short offcuts.
• Keep hands well clear of the blade path and use the clamp where needed for better control and safety.
• Always use the correct blade for the material being cut and check that it is sharp, clean and correctly fitted.
• Remove both battery packs before changing the blade, making adjustments or carrying out maintenance.
• Allow the blade to reach full speed before entering the material and let it stop fully before lifting the saw head.
• Use the chip collection bag or suitable dust extraction to reduce airborne dust and improve cut-line visibility.
• Maintain a stable stance and support longer workpieces properly using extension support or a suitable work surface.
• Always follow the Festool operating and safety instructions supplied with the machine.
