The Festool CTLC MIDI I-Basic is a compact cordless mobile dust extractor designed for clean, flexible work with Festool cordless tools. Built around a powerful 36 V turbine powered by 2 x 18 V battery packs, this CLEANTEC extractor gives you strong suction power without needing a plug point nearby. It is ideal for mobile sanding, sawing and drilling applications where dust extraction is still important, but cables and power access can slow the job down. With Bluetooth® autostart, remote control operation, adjustable suction power and Festool system compatibility, the CTLC MIDI I-Basic brings proper dust extraction to cordless site work.

For continuous cordless working, Festool recommends using four battery packs with a suitable rapid charger setup.
Wet extraction requires the correct special wet filter before use.
The extractor can connect to the Festool app for operating data, warnings and software update support where available.

How to Use

Fit the SC FIS-CT SELFCLEAN filter bag correctly inside the extractor.
Check that the main filter is fitted and suitable for the application.
Connect the antistatic suction hose to the extractor using the CLEANTEC fitting.
Connect the hose to the compatible power tool or cleaning accessory.
Insert 2 x compatible 18 V Festool battery packs into the extractor.
Select the required suction level according to the tool, material and dust volume.
Pair Bluetooth® battery packs or use the included CT-F I remote control for switching where required.
Start work and monitor suction performance during use.
Use manual dedusting when suction starts to reduce.
Switch the extractor off, remove the batteries when needed, and empty or replace the filter bag when full.
