The Festool CXS 12 2,5-Plus is a compact cordless drill built for precise drilling and screwdriving where control, comfort and access really matter. Light in the hand, beautifully balanced and surprisingly powerful for its size, this 12V class drill is ideal for furniture fitting, kitchen installation, interior finishing, trim work, cabinet work and general assembly tasks. The ergonomic C-shape places the grip directly in line with the drilling and screwdriving axis, giving you excellent control when working accurately in wood, metal and plastic.

The powerful brushless EC-TEC motor delivers reliable performance with low energy consumption, while the 2-speed gearbox allows controlled fastening in first gear and faster drilling in second gear. Festool’s FastFix interface makes changing between compatible attachments quick and tool-free, and the included 10mm FastFix keyless chuck allows the use of standard cylindrical drill bits and accessories. With integrated LED work light, magnetic bit holder, belt clip, two 2.5Ah battery packs, rapid charger and Systainer³ storage, this is a neat, professional drilling and screwdriving set for daily trade use.

  • Select the correct gear for the task: first gear for controlled screwdriving and second gear for drilling.
  • Set the torque level according to the material and screw size when fastening.
  • Position the drill squarely to the workpiece and start slowly for better control.
  • Allow the motor to stop fully before changing direction, gear or accessories.
  • After use, remove dust from the tool and return the drill, batteries and charger to the Systainer³.
