Pro Tips

Use the STL 450 before applying the final coat. It is much cheaper to fix a surface before the paint goes on than after.
Move the light angle slightly while inspecting. Some defects only show up properly from one direction.
Use it after each important sanding stage on high-visibility surfaces such as doors, panels, walls and furniture components.
For large walls or ceilings, position the light low and across the surface to exaggerate shadows and unevenness.
Do not trust normal room lighting for finishing inspection. Normal light is polite; grazing light tells the truth.
