Safety

• Wear eye, ear and dust protection when cutting wood, board materials, plastics or metals.
• Always read and follow the manufacturer’s operating and safety instructions before use.
• Use the correct jigsaw blade for the material being cut.
• Check that the blade is correctly fitted and secure before switching on the machine.
• Keep hands away from the blade and cutting path at all times.
• Secure the workpiece properly before cutting.
• Allow the blade to stop completely before lifting the saw from the workpiece.
• Remove the battery before changing blades, changing accessories, cleaning or carrying out maintenance.
• Use dust extraction where possible, especially when cutting dusty sheet materials or coated boards.
• Do not force the blade through tight curves, as this can cause blade deflection or breakage.
