Tork Craft Wood Chisel — 30 mm Blade

A robust wide chisel for serious stock removal and finish trimming. The 30 mm blade offers excellent coverage — ideal for flattening, trimming large panels, cleaning rebates, and smoothing surfaces in furniture or carpentry tasks.

Extra Information

  • Use light, steady paring cuts; avoid overstraining the edge with forceful blows.
  • Score across grain where possible to minimise tear-out.
  • Strop or hone often, especially for wider blades which may dull more at edges.

Pro Tip

  • After trimming with the 30 mm, finish with a block plane or finer chisel to remove any micro-ripples and get a glass-smooth finish.
  • When working large surfaces, use the 30 mm to knock off the bulk, then switch to narrower chisels or planes for detail cleanup.
