A robust general-purpose chisel. The 19 mm blade offers firm control while removing stock efficiently — well suited for joinery, mortising, trimming falls, and finishing tasks.

Extra Information

  • Use light, steady paring cuts when possible — heavy force may chip finer workpieces.
  • Keep the bevel facing your direction of cut to minimize tear-out on timber.
  • Strop or hone frequently during use to maintain a sharp edge.

Pro Tip

  • For tight mortises or slides, hog out bulk with the 19 mm, then clean up edges with narrower chisels.
  • After glue-up, use the 19 mm to push off excess glue, then clean up finer with a block plane or smaller blade.
