The AirCraft AT0016-39 Cushion is a replacement cushioning washer/ring used in the AirCraft Air Ratchet Wrench (AT0016 series) to damp vibration, reduce shock loading and help maintain correct clearances inside the assembly. Over time, cushions can harden, wear thin, crack, or deform, which can lead to increased rattle, harsher engagement, and accelerated wear on neighbouring parts. Replacing the cushion helps restore smoother operation and gives the mechanism a little “give” where it’s meant to have it—protecting the tool during repeated cycling.
