Large Outside Micrometer 800 - 900mm Range (0.020mm Accuracy)
SERIES 329

This large outside micrometer is a precision measuring instrument specifically designed to measure the external dimensions of larger objects, such as the outside diameter of large shafts, the thickness of wide plates, or the dimensions of large machine parts. These micrometers are built to handle measurements beyond the standard 25 mm (1 inch) range and can extend up to several meters in some specialized cases.

Applications

Heavy Machinery and Equipment: Used to measure the dimensions of large components, such as the diameter of large shafts, the thickness of machine parts, and the width of large plates, ensuring they meet design specifications.
Aerospace and Automotive Industries: Essential for measuring large parts in industries where precision is critical, such as the outer dimensions of engine components, fuselage sections, or large structural elements.
Construction and Engineering: Employed to measure the thickness of large materials like beams, panels, or pipes, ensuring they meet the required tolerances for structural integrity.
Manufacturing and Quality Control: Used in the inspection of large-scale products, verifying that they conform to precise dimensional standards.

In summary, a large outside micrometer is an essential tool for accurately measuring the external dimensions of large objects. Its robust design, precision, and adaptability make it invaluable in industries where large-scale measurements are critical, such as manufacturing, construction, and heavy machinery.
