Outside Blade Micrometer 100 - 125mm | ±3µm Accuracy
SERIES 326

An outside blade micrometer is a specialized type of micrometer designed for measuring the external dimensions of small grooves, narrow slots, keyways, and other hard-to-reach features that standard micrometers cannot measure effectively. Unlike standard micrometers with flat anvils, the outside blade micrometer has thin, blade-like measuring faces that allow it to fit into tight spaces.

Features

Measures small groove diameters
Non-rotating spindle
Ratchet stop
Setting standards are included

Specifications

Range: 100-125mm
Graduation: 0.01mm
Anvil: 6.5 x 0.75mm

Typical Use Cases:

Measuring narrow keyways: Useful for checking the width and fit of keyways in shafts and hubs.
Small grooves: Ideal for precision measurements of slots and grooves in machined components.
Splines and recesses: Suitable for checking small splined shafts and other recessed areas in mechanical parts.

The outside blade micrometer is an essential tool for anyone needing to measure precise external dimensions in hard-to-access areas, making it indispensable for high-precision machining and manufacturing.
