SERIES 270
Dial indicator points are the interchangeable contact tips that are attached to the end of a dial indicator's stem. These points determine how the indicator interacts with the workpiece and influence the accuracy and precision of measurements.
Types of Dial Indicator Points:
- Ball tip: Used for general-purpose applications and provides a point contact.
- Flat tip: Ideal for measuring flat surfaces and provides a larger contact area.
- Roller tip: Used for measuring round surfaces and reduces friction.
- Tungsten carbide tip: Offers increased durability and resistance to wear.
- Specialized tips: Available for specific applications, such as thread or groove measurements.
