The Festool CTL MIDI I is a compact, powerful and clever CLEANTEC mobile dust extractor designed for clean working during service, installation, sanding, routing, sawing and drilling tasks. Built for tradespeople who need proper dust extraction without dragging around an oversized machine, the CTL MIDI I combines strong suction, touch operation, Bluetooth® technology, a smooth antistatic hose and excellent container utilisation in a robust, easy-to-move design. Compact extraction with serious Festool system convenience

The CTL MIDI I is made to work smoothly with Festool power tools and accessories. It can start automatically when a corded tool is plugged into the appliance socket, and the integrated Bluetooth® technology allows automatic start-up via compatible Festool Bluetooth® battery packs or an optional remote control. Add in the internal hose holder, cable winder, T-LOC Systainer coupling and external main-filter access, and this extractor becomes a proper daily-use workhorse.

Extra Information

Pro Tips

Use the automatic socket with corded tools so the extractor starts and stops with the tool. It makes the workflow feel much smoother.

Use the lowest suction setting that still gives effective dust extraction. It reduces noise and can make sanding easier to control.
Use manual dedusting when suction starts dropping during dusty work. It helps keep the filter performing properly.
Do not use the standard main filter for wet extraction. Fit the correct wet filter first, otherwise the extractor will not be happy with you.
Keep spare filter bags in a Systainer on top of the extractor so you are not hunting for bags halfway through a dusty job.

How to Use

Fit the SC FIS-CT SELFCLEAN filter bag correctly inside the extractor.
Check that the HF-CT COMP main filter is fitted and suitable for the work being done.
Connect the smooth antistatic suction hose to the extractor using the CLEANTEC connection.
Connect the hose to the power tool, cleaning accessory or suitable extraction point.
For corded tools, plug the tool into the extractor’s automatic socket module if automatic start-up is required.
Switch the extractor on using the touch control panel and select the required suction level.
Start the connected tool or extractor operation and monitor suction performance during use.
Use manual dedusting if suction performance drops during dusty work.
Replace the filter bag when full and check the main filter regularly.
After use, switch off the extractor, unplug the power cable and store the hose and cable neatly on the machine.
