Safety

• Wear eye, ear and dust protection when cutting timber, board products, coated panels, plastics or construction materials.
• Use the correct saw blade for the material being cut and never use a damaged or incorrect blade.
• Do not bypass or ignore safety features such as KickbackStop and the quick-acting brake.
• Clamp the workpiece and guide rail where required before cutting.
• Keep hands clear of the blade path and never reach underneath the workpiece while cutting.
• Allow the blade to reach full speed before entering the material.
• Do not force the saw through the cut; use a steady feed rate suitable for the material and blade.
• Use dust extraction whenever possible, especially when cutting MDF, chipboard, coated panels or dusty materials.
• Disconnect the plug it cable before changing blades, adjusting the saw or carrying out maintenance.
• Allow the saw blade to stop completely before lifting the saw from the cut or placing it down.
