Safety

• Read the operating instructions and safety information before using the saw.

• Keep both hands on the saw during operation and keep all body parts clear of the chain path.
• Check the chain condition, chain tension and chain lubrication before every use.
• Use only suitable Festool-approved chains and accessories for the SSU 200.
• Ensure the workpiece is stable, supported and cannot shift during cutting.
• Use the guide rail system where possible for controlled, accurate cutting.
• Do not force the saw through the material; allow the chain and motor to cut at a controlled rate.
• Be extra careful when starting or finishing a cut, as the chain can grab if the saw is not properly controlled.
• Allow the chain to stop completely before setting the saw down or making adjustments.
• Disconnect the saw from the power supply before changing the chain, adjusting tension, cleaning or carrying out maintenance.
