Terms and Conditions for Data use on Websites

Our customers wishing to utilise data from the Vermont Sales website platforms need to familiarise themselves with our terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are binding according to each customer's resellers contract.

Errors and Omissions

Vermont Sales is not responsible for errors and omissions that may be in the data. It is the responsibility of user/dealer using the data to make sure it is correct.

This includes and not limited to features and benefits, technical specifications, pictures and assumed discounts.

Products Discontinued

Products discontinued by Vermont Sales may not be advertised on user/dealer’s website unless the user/dealer has the physical stock in stock.

Available Stock

Available stock, stock on hand or stock quantities of Vermont Sales may not be made visible on the user/dealer's website. The user may only show stock as “Available” or “Out of stock”.

Should the user/dealer of data be carrying physical stock on hand then they may show the quantity they carry in stock.

Returning Stock for Credit

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

  • A non-negotiable Buyback Fee of 25% will be charged on items returned for credit to our warehouse.
  • Items that are non-returnable include:
    • Electronic goods like rechargeable batteries
    • Electronic spare parts
    • Products with an expiry date
    • Health care products and goods
    • Food related products like vitamins and supplements
    • Clothing and workwear
    • Custom orders or special-order items
    • Items in which there is wear and tear, damage or visible usage
    • Items without original packaging and/or is missing parts or accessories
    • Products purchased during closeout sales and promotions
    • Products specially marked “Non-Returnable”

Product Images

User/dealers may not display any product without having a picture on their website, it is the responsibility of the user/dealer to make sure that every product displayed on their website has a picture. Vermont Sales endeavors to have available for download pictures for every product but cannot guarantee this. In such cases where a picture is not available the dealer/user must supply their own image or remove the product from their website.

Brand Impersonation

Brand impersonation. Dealers must clearly define their position as an authorized dealer of the brands that they sell from Vermont Sales and not as the respective brand itself.

User/dealers thus may not create the perception that they are the respective brand/s but rather an authorized dealer of the respective brand/s

Contravention of Terms and Conditions

Vermont Sales reserves the right to supply goods to any user/dealer should there be a contravention of the above terms and conditions. These terms and conditions may change from time to time and it is the responsibility of the user/dealer to keep themselves up to date with the latest terms and conditions.
